An anaconda was recently discovered in Brazil, and while that’s generally not headline news, this particular anaconda is worth at least an article. Why? Because it is friggin HUGE, that’s why!
The snake was discovered in Para, Brazil in the municipality and it is believed to weight 880 pounds (399 kg). Even the way people came across it was a crazy coincidence.
While working construction on the Belo Monte dam, an explosion rocked the site. When workers went to investigate the damage, they came across the gigantic snake.
The anaconda is said to be 32 feet long and allegedly weighs about 399 kilograms which translates to about 880 pounds, making it even more terrifying than the predator who terrorized people in the movie Anaconda.
